This is a most mysterious, stunning and evocative work, depicting our connection to trees - and all that is. Just wonderful ! :-)

I find this an incredibly moving and powerful image. Beautiful work...and I am so happy to learn of your work with the Make Way group. So many people have no idea this is going on in world. v/f

Thank you, Rory. Yes so many have no idea. The area in Sudan where one of the centers is located is being bombed daily.

Artist's Description

what once was
is no more

Whittling away
that which is old

grey and worn
decaying and dead

Slowly revealing
that which is new

fresh and green
full of life

Losing myself
yet learning
to become myself

Forgetting who I was
Remembering who I can be

A thousand times over
the process of life

shedding old skin
putting on new

renewal
regeneration

transformation
growth

maturing
learning
having
experiencing
becoming

new
